How do I log in?
You can log-in by entering your registered e-mail address and password in the log-in box located on the upper right side of the homepage.

I can't see the log-in box?
The Log-in box is located within iChatAsia's homepage. If you can't see it, click the "Refresh" or "Reload' button located on top of your browser or press "F5".

What if I entered the wrong password?
First and foremost, make sure that you have the entered the correct account details. If you are sure that you have the correct details, try logging-in next time or click the "refresh" button on top of your browser or simply press "F5".

3. Click Avatar Chat Room located in the lower part of the page.

In chatting individually or giving private message, click the avatar of the person you want to chat and write your message in the text box that will appear after clicking the avatar.

Can I Chat members of iChatAsia with online status?
Yes, just click on the online now icon and a pop-up window will automatically appear having a message of awaiting response.

How can I Chat online members of iChatAsia?
1. Click the "Online NOW" status of the member in his/her profile box.

2. Wait for the member to confirm your invitation to chat.

3. Once confirmed by the other member, you can now chat that person every time he/she is online.

How to use video chat?
1. First you need to log-in with your registered e-mail address and password. Search members with online status, check question on "How to search for online people in iChatAsia?" for instructions.

2. Click the "Online NOW!" icon in their profile box.

3. A pop-up window will appear waiting for the other member to confirm your invitation to chat.

4. Once the member confirms your invitation, a message will show that the invitation is accepted by the other member.

5. In the iChat Media Web Messenger box, click the webcam icon.

6. Then a box with "Video On" will appear, click it and a confirmation message will appear asking for the access of Camera and Microphone, click "Allow".

7. You can now start chatting that allows you to see and hear the other person.

Can I post Youtube, Google, Yahoo Videos and other online video sharing sites?
Yes, you can definitely post and upload or it is technically called embedding videos.

What is Embed Videos?
An embed video has been developed to ease the burden of inserting video and animation into web It is a string of code that anyone can place on any web page (blogs, online journals, any website) that will pull and play the video from its original source. This way visitor will be able to play the video without leaving your site. You may alter the size of the video by changing the width or height.

How to post videos from online video sharing websites?
Go to Youtube, Google Video, Yahoo Video and other online video sharing websites. Find the video you'd like to upload. Copy the Embed code (in HTML code and usually found to the right of the video clip).

Login in to account in iChatFilipina. Go to My Account, click Manage My Videos or click Add/ Edit Videos under My Account Settings. In the Post Public Videos, paste the embed code in the Embed Code text space and press Submit Video.

Do not upload video with copyrighted, obscene or any other material which violates iChatAsia Video Policy.

How to block a member in the iChatAsia.com?
To block a member, simply go to the Inbox tab in your Profile, and click on a message they have sent. Click the Block Member button found in the upper part of the Inbox Panel.

You can also block a member by visiting his/her profile then click Block this Member in the Interact Box in your profile.

You can also search for the member in the Search Page in the main menu. Use the Quick Search in the upper right side of the page. Type the name or the email address of the member. Then click the name of the member and they will take you to their user profile where you can click Block this Member in the Interact Box.

How to Unblock a Member?
To unblock a member, click My List in the main menu then click My Block List. Click Unblock in the Profile Box of the member. A confirmation message will show, click OK.

Why I can't chat the people online?
Probably you are block by the member that you like to chat.

How come I can't receive replies in the messages I sent?
Probably the recipient has blocked you that's why you haven’t receive any reply.

What is Turn Off Mode?
Setting your account to Turn Off temporarily disables you to the services and features of iChatAsia.com. Also members of iChatAsia.com will not be able to view your profile.

How to Set my Account to Turn Off?
Login to your account; go to your profile page then Click Turn Off My Account. A pop up box will show confirming the action, click Yes and your account will be Turn Off.

Can I activate my Account again?
Certainly Yes, login to your account then a pop up box will ask you to Activate your Profile. Click Yes and full access to iChatAsia.com will be granted and members can view your profile again.
